The upgrade process depends on your hosting environment and how your Odoo system is managed.

For this reason, upgrade instructions are separated into Odoo.sh and Self-hosted guides.


Before you upgrade

Before upgrading MailDesk, always make sure that:

  • A full database backup exists.

  • The upgrade is tested on a development or staging environment first.

  • You understand whether the new version introduces changes to Python dependencies or configuration.
