MailDesk Pro is the next step up from MailDesk Basic. It keeps everything Basic gives you — Gmail, Outlook and IMAP mailboxes inside Odoo — and adds the capabilities that turn email into part of your team's daily Odoo workflow.
Pro is built for users and teams who actually work in email — sales, support, operations, customer success.
What Pro adds on top of Basic
AI Assistant — Summarize a thread, Draft a reply, Security scan, with your choice of provider (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, or a self-hosted provider)
Two-way mailbox synchronization — Read / Star / Move / Delete in Odoo and your provider stays in sync
Signatures per mailbox — Set a different signature for each connected mailbox
Email templates in the composer — Pick a template, bind it to an Odoo record, send
Link any email to an Odoo record — One click links an email to a CRM lead, Helpdesk ticket, Sale order, Calendar event, Document, or any other record (with the corresponding Workflow Bridge)

When to choose Pro
Pro is the right edition if any of these apply:
Your team needs help drafting replies or processing high inbox volume
You want to act on emails (move, delete, flag) inside Odoo and see those changes in your phone or webmail too
You need to link emails to your existing Odoo records (CRM leads, support tickets, sale orders, etc.) — Pro is the foundation; install the Workflow Bridge for the matching Odoo app
You want a private AI option (self-hosted) so no email content leaves your infrastructure

Who can use Pro
Required permissions:
End users — any user who can use MailDesk Basic can also use Pro features on the mailboxes they have access to
Administrator — needed to configure AI providers, manage shared mailboxes, install Workflow Bridges, and set company-wide signatures and templates
⚠️ AI provider keys are configured by an administrator and apply system-wide. Individual users do not enter their own keys.
