Workflow Bridges

Workflow Bridges are MailDesk add-on modules that connect MailDesk to the rest of your Odoo apps. Each bridge unlocks one Odoo app — CRM, Helpdesk, Sales, Calendar, Documents, Contacts — and lets you link emails to records, see the right context in the email side panel, and take actions in Odoo directly from your inbox.

Bridges build on top of MailDesk Pro. Once Pro is installed, you add the bridges you actually need.


The 8 Workflow Bridges

  • Automation Engine — rules that run automatically when an email arrives (tag, link, notify, auto-reply)

  • Partner 360 — embedded customer 360 panel next to every email

  • Chatter Integration — internal team discussion thread for each email

  • CRM Integration — link emails to CRM leads and opportunities

  • Helpdesk Integration — turn emails into Helpdesk tickets

  • Calendar Integration — link emails to Calendar events, parse meeting invitations

  • Documents Integration — save attachments into Odoo Documents, attach Documents to outgoing emails

  • Sales Integration — link emails to quotations and sale orders



What every bridge requires

  • MailDesk Basic and MailDesk Pro installed

  • The matching Odoo app installed (e.g. Odoo CRM for the CRM bridge)

  • User access to the matching Odoo app (e.g. CRM access to use the CRM bridge)

  • MailDesk Business includes 7 bridges bundled (Partner 360, Chatter, CRM, Helpdesk, Calendar, Documents, Sales) — see Editions: Basic, Pro, Business, Ultimate

  • MailDesk Pro users can add individual bridges as needed

  • Automation Engine can be added on top of Pro or any edition
