Which Odoo versions and editions does MailDesk Documents Integration run on?

Odoo 17, 18 and 19. It needs the Odoo Documents app (Odoo Enterprise only). Odoo Online cannot install custom modules; use on-premise or Odoo.sh.

Do I need MailDesk Basic and Pro to use MailDesk Documents Integration?

Yes. The module depends on both MailDesk Basic and MailDesk Pro, so both must be installed. It extends MailDesk and does not replace it.

Are attachments copied when they are filed into Documents?

No. The document reuses the existing attachment, so the file is not duplicated. For each attachment you can see whether it has already been saved to Documents.

What does the AI suggest when I file an attachment?

A document name, a few tags and a folder hint, all editable before saving. The target folder stays the mailbox account default and is never set from the free-text hint.

Where does MailDesk Documents Integration store the link between an email and the document?

In your own Odoo database, attached to the MailDesk message index rather than folder or provider IDs. Re-syncing the mailbox or moving a mail does not break the link.

Is MailDesk Documents Integration a purchase or a subscription?

One-time licence at 249 EUR plus VAT, valid for one Odoo major version and the current MailDesk major. Future Odoo or MailDesk majors are separate purchases.
