Met welke Odoo-versie en -editie werkt AI Auto Translation?

Het pakket is gemaakt voor Odoo 18 (manifest 18.0.1.0.1) en heeft alleen de modules web, iap en web_editor nodig. Het draait op Odoo on-premise en Odoo.sh. Odoo Online kan geen eigen Python-modules installeren.

Hoe installeer ik de module en waar staat de AI-knop?

Plaats de module in het addons-pad, werk de apps-lijst bij en installeer hem. Het vertaaldialoog van een vertaalbaar veld toont dan de knoppen ‘Translate using AI’, ‘Stop’ en ‘Context’, plus ‘Translate’ per regel.

Welke gegevens verlaten mijn database bij de AI-vertaling?

De te vertalen tekst, de naam van de doeltaal, uw optionele context en de database-UUID gaan naar de OLG-dienst van Odoo (het endpoint van web_editor, via IAP). Wij beheren die dienst niet; raadpleeg de voorwaarden van Odoo voor uw AVG-documentatie.

Wat voegt de module toe aan het standaard vertaaldialoog van Odoo?

Het voegt knoppen toe om alle talen of één regel te vertalen, een stopknop, kleurmarkering voor lege (geel) en gewijzigde (groen) velden en een contextveld. HTML-inhoud wordt vertaald met behoud van de tags.
