Does MailDesk Basic (one-time licence) work with my Odoo version and edition?

MailDesk Basic is available for Odoo 17, 18 and 19, on Community and Enterprise, on your own server or Odoo.sh. Odoo Online (SaaS) cannot install custom Python modules, so it is not supported.

How do I install MailDesk Basic (one-time licence) in Odoo?

Install the module ZIP for your Odoo major version like any Odoo module; the server needs imapclient, the Google API packages and msal. Then connect mailboxes with OAuth2 or IMAP. We can install it for EUR 120 per hour.

What does MailDesk Basic cost as a one-time licence, and what does it cover?

EUR 389 net once per productive Odoo instance, unlimited users. The licence covers one Odoo major version and the current MailDesk major; further majors are separate purchases.

What can MailDesk Pro do that Basic cannot? (one-time licence)

Basic is read-only sync: messages are mirrored from the server into Odoo, while delete and flag stay local. Pro adds two-way sync with server-side delete, the AI assistant, phishing scan and a priority support channel.

Where are my emails stored, and can MailDesk Basic run GDPR-compliantly? (one-time licence)

MailDesk is an Odoo module with no SaaS part: messages live in your Odoo instance. Per mailbox, attachments can instead be loaded from the mail server only when opened. Basic has no AI connection.

Can several colleagues share one mailbox such as support@? (one-time licence)

Yes. Enable the shared option on the mailbox and select the Odoo users with access; everyone sees the same inbox without duplicating OAuth tokens. The number of users is not limited.
