How It Works?

Locate "Password Manager" in the Odoo Apps Store and install it. Make sure you have administrator rights to perform this action.

After installation, navigate to Settings → Users . Assign the appropriate role to each user: "Password Manager Admin" or "Password Manager User" . This step ensures that only authorized individuals can access or manage credentials.

Navigate to the Credentials section and click "New." Fill in fields such as Name, URL, Login, and Password. Optionally, assign tags, upload an image, and add a detailed description.

Go to the Access Groups section and create groups to manage shared access rights. Assign users to each group and link credentials accordingly.

Create and assign tags to credentials for improved categorization. Tags can be customized with colors to make them visually distinctive.

Assign credentials to individual users or groups directly from the credential form. This ensures that sensitive information is only accessible to authorized users.
