Not a competitor — an alliance

We don't sell against you. We sell with you.

MIT is a developer team for email, communication, telephony, AI and servers — we don't do accounting or inventory consulting. That's exactly why we're not a competitor but your technical partner. Deals flow in both directions.

Our licences become your margin

You buy MailDesk licences and add-on modules at your tier discount, sell them to your Odoo customers in your own name and invoice them yourself.

  • MailDesk licences — Basic, Pro, Business (Odoo 17/18/19)
  • Add-ons: Automation Engine €399, Partner 360 €299, bridges €249
  • Renewals of subscriptions bought through you — same discount
  • One key per productive Odoo instance — the user count is irrelevant
  • Up to 35 mail accounts per instance; from 36 agreed case by case
  • Not discounted: implementation, development, migration, managed support

What we don't do, we hand to you

We regularly receive Odoo enquiries outside our core expertise. Instead of declining, we hand them to partners. It works in the other direction too: refer an Odoo project to us and current practice is 10 % of the net order value of that first project.

  • Inventory / warehouse / WMS
  • Manufacturing / MRP

Your margin on licences

You buy licences and add-on modules at your tier discount and sell them in your own name. What you charge your customer is your decision; the difference stays with you.

Margin that repeats

The tier discount also applies to renewals of subscriptions bought through you. Sell a yearly Business licence once and you buy every renewal at your discount again.

Referral commission

Refer a project in our field — mail servers, telephony/VoIP, AI servers — and you receive 10 % of the net order value of that first project, once we confirm the referral in text form and the customer has paid in full.

The discount follows your tier alone, never the individual deal. MIT services — implementation, development, migration, managed support — are not discounted. The 10 % referral commission sits in a non-binding annex: current practice rather than a guaranteed entitlement, and it excludes third-party licences and pass-through items.

Every partner starts as a Reseller at 25 % off. Core at 35 % is earned against published criteria and reviewed once a year. Beside both sits a referral commission for work in our own field — mail servers, telephony, AI servers — that you send us.

What adds up in the alliance

Two things stack: your margin on every licence, add-on and renewal you sell, and the 10 % on Odoo projects you refer to us. All figures below are net list prices per productive Odoo instance.

Who the programme is for

Ideal for Odoo experts and IT service providers

MailDesk closes the native email gap in Odoo. If your customers use Odoo, they need MailDesk.

Odoo implementation partners
You implement Odoo for customers who then need a complete email solution. MailDesk is the missing piece — ready to licence, no development of your own.
Top priority
IT service providers & MSPs
Your customers work in silos — Outlook + Odoo, with no integration. MailDesk unites both, GDPR-compliant. You resell and run first level; we take second level behind you.
Reseller model
Digital agencies (DACH)
You guide mid-market customers through digitalisation. MailDesk rounds out your Odoo offering — you sell it and invoice it in your own name.
Sell in your own name
International Odoo consultancies
Benelux, UK, Eastern Europe, France, Spain. MailDesk is GDPR-compliant and supports Odoo 17, 18, 19. Ideal for cross-border implementations.

What you get

Everything you need to sell

We provide the product, the tech, the documentation and the support — and we hand you deals. You bring the customer access.

5 years of support, guaranteed
Every MailDesk major version is supported for five years from its first release, and security updates are free of charge whatever licence form your customer chose.
A fair admission process
Selective distribution: admission is non-discriminatory, you receive a decision within 20 working days, and a rejection is always reasoned.
You set your own resale price
You buy at 25 % or 35 % off the net list price and decide yourself what the end customer pays. The discount is the floor of your margin, not its ceiling — and it follows your tier alone, never the individual deal.
Second level by MIT
You run first level in full; you escalate to us. Free are confirmed reproducible bugs in unmodified MailDesk code and 15 minutes of triage per incident. Beyond that we quote first and work only on your approval — €120 standard, €150 for priority work outside support hours.
You escalate straight to the developers
No middleman: your escalation reaches the team that writes the code. Confirmed reproducible bugs in unmodified MailDesk code and the first 15 minutes of triage per incident are free. Beyond that, second level is chargeable — we quote first and work only on your approval.
Deals in both directions
You resell our licences — and the Odoo projects we don't do (accounting, inventory, manufacturing) we hand back to you. Refer us a project in our own field — mail servers, telephony, AI servers — and current practice is 10 % of the net order value.
Onboarding process

An active partner in 4 steps

Admission is non-discriminatory and you receive a reasoned decision within 20 working days.

1
Submit your application
Fill in the form — company, Odoo status, customer base. Every partner starts at Reseller.
2
Qualification & alliance agreement
MIT decides within 20 working days and gives reasons for a rejection. You then sign the reseller agreement — that signature is what makes you a partner.
3
Onboarding & portal access
You order keys through the partner portal at your tier's terms — no deal registration, no approval per customer. Training comes later: it is one of the three Core criteria, not a condition of starting as a Reseller.
4
Sell & earn
Order keys against prepayment — they are generated as soon as your payment arrives. You invoice your customer, and the margin stays with you.
Frequently asked questions

Everything partners need to know

Does MIT compete with me for my customers?
No. MIT is a developer team for email, communication, telephony, AI, servers and development — we don't do accounting, inventory or process consulting. On the contrary: we hand such Odoo enquiries to partners. And because you sell in your own name, the customer relationship and the invoice stay with you.
What exactly do I earn, and how?
A margin, not a commission. You are an independent reseller: you buy MailDesk licences and add-on modules from us at 25 % or 35 % off the net list price, sell them in your own name and invoice the end customer yourself. The difference is yours, and you set your own selling price. The discount also covers renewals of subscriptions bought through you. MIT services — implementation, development, migration, managed support — carry no discount.
Does MIT bring me deals too?
Yes. Odoo enquiries outside our expertise (accounting/DATEV, inventory/WMS, manufacturing/MRP, general implementation) we hand to suitable partners. It runs the other way too: refer a project in our own field — mail servers, telephony, AI servers — to us and current practice is 10 % of the net order value of that first project, once we have confirmed the referral in text form and the customer has paid in full. That commission sits in a non-binding annex, so treat it as practice rather than a promise.
Do I need a certification or training?
Not to start: every partner begins as a Reseller at 25 %. Core at 35 % does require at least one employee who has completed our digital training or can demonstrate equivalent knowledge, plus proven first-level support capability. Neither tier requires a paid certification.
What are the requirements?
Reseller (25 %): sign the reseller agreement — every partner starts here. Core (35 %): all three at once — net licence purchases of at least €10,000 over the rolling last twelve months or at least ten active paying end customers; at least one employee trained by MIT or with equivalent knowledge; and proven first-level support capability. We review once a year at year end and decide within 30 days.
Who supports the end customer?
You do, at first level and in full: taking the request, checking settings, collecting logs, basic diagnosis and ruling out the obvious causes in the customer's own environment — Odoo, Microsoft 365, Exchange, DNS, third-party modules. MIT provides second level and charges for it. Free are confirmed reproducible bugs in unmodified MailDesk code and up to 15 minutes of triage per incident; beyond that we give you a cost estimate first and work only on approval. Rates: €120 standard, €110 beyond a care plan's included hours, €150 for priority work outside support hours, billed in 15-minute steps.
What does a licence cost, and how do I order?
Net list prices are per productive Odoo instance, not per user: Basic €29 a month, €290 a year or €389 one-off; Pro €59, €590 or €789; Business €89, €890 or €1,499; Ultimate on request. Your tier discount comes off those figures — a Business one-off costs a Reseller €1,124.25 and a Core partner €974.35. Add-ons follow the same discount: Automation Engine €399, Partner 360 €299, bridges €249 each. Keys are issued against prepayment and generated as soon as your payment arrives.
What limits should I know before I quote?
Basic, Pro and Business cover up to 35 mail accounts per productive Odoo instance. From 36 accounts the project is agreed individually under the Ultimate/Strategic model, and you report it to us in text form before you quote the end customer. Every productive instance needs its own key, including below that threshold. The discount follows your tier alone, never the individual deal — so you can quote without asking us first.
Are the modules GDPR-compliant and which Odoo versions?
Yes. MailDesk is not SaaS — the modules run entirely on your customer's Odoo server (on-premise or managed hosting in Germany). No data leaves the instance. Odoo 17, 18 and 19 are supported, and every major version gets five years of support with free security updates.

Why become a MailDesk partner?
MailDesk closes the biggest gap in the Odoo ecosystem — native email integration with no SaaS and no third-country data transfer, made in Germany. You buy at 25 % or 35 % off, sell in your own name and keep the margin.
100% GDPR & made in Germany
No SaaS, no third-country data transfer. Your customers stay in control of their data. A strong argument in DACH sales.
Margin that comes back every year
Renewals of subscriptions bought through you carry the same tier discount. The agreement itself runs indefinitely, and either side can end it with three months' notice to month end.
Second level behind your first level
You run first level in full; your escalations reach the development team directly. Confirmed reproducible bugs in unmodified MailDesk code and 15 minutes of triage per incident are free — beyond that we give you a cost estimate first and work only on approval.
An early market advantage
MailDesk is a professional mail-client module for Odoo, built in Hamburg since 2018. Becoming a partner now builds a knowledge and reputation lead.
