PhoneDesk is ten services on two machines, a carrier trunk, certificates for the browser and a dialplan that fits your organisation. We deliver that as a fully commissioned system - hosted in Germany or as a device in your server room. And we keep running it.
Software can be downloaded. A phone system has to keep running while nobody is watching.
A phone system is real-time infrastructure. It holds connections open, it sits on the internet with a SIP port, it registers with a carrier, and it has to work at eight on Monday morning. That is why we do not ship PhoneDesk as a module for you to install yourself, but as a commissioned system with a service contract.
You do not get a build-it-yourself project. You get a system that answers your numbers, records every call in Odoo and whose dialplan you change from inside Odoo.
Asterisk 22 LTS, up to 50 concurrent calls, a dedicated SIP endpoint per seat. Set up, hardened and connected to your carrier.
preconfiguredWhich number rings where is no longer an SSH session: generate, dry-run check, roll out, read back from the running system. If the system deviates, the change rolls back automatically.
with rollbackAnswer, dial, attended transfer, conference - in the Odoo window, without a desk phone. Click-to-dial from any Odoo record. We set up the certificates this needs and renew them.
no desk phoneOn the Box M, speech recognition and speech synthesis run locally on the device. The AI answers, holds the conversation and writes a summary and the transcript onto the contact in Odoo - with sentiment and topics.
local on the boxOver the recordings your system already produces sits the layer an auditor wants to see: a consent register with grant, refusal and withdrawal, retention periods per tenant, deletion by key destruction, and an audit trail from which nothing disappears, not even under administrator rights.
audit-proofBlocklists against registration attempts, firewall, restricted SIP sources. Changes to the system go through Odoo, not through an SSH session - including key rotation without a console.
hardenedHosted in a German data centre or as a device on your premises. Every model arrives fully commissioned, at a fixed price for commissioning and with ongoing operation.
All prices per system, plus the PhoneDesk licence per Odoo database. Multi-tenant structures and organisations beyond these sizes we plan individually.
The same software on all three models. The difference is where the machine sits, the voice AI and the response time.

Odoo Community is enough. PhoneDesk does not need an Enterprise licence.
A phone system is not a server handing out files. It sits on the internet with an open SIP port, it hangs off a carrier, and a mistake shows up on the phone bill at the end of the month.
Blocklists against automated registration attempts, plus a monthly review of the permitted sources. An unwatched SIP port is the most common route to toll fraud.
Without a valid certificate no browser registers with the system. We renew the certificates and keep an eye on the remaining validity - before they expire.
We check continuously that your system is registered with the provider. A silent loss of registration is the outage nobody notices - until the first customer cannot get through.
Two changes a month are included: generate, dry-run check, roll out, read back from the system. If the result does not match, the change rolls itself back - with a history.
We apply security releases within 72 hours. Before that we check whether the templates on the box still match the release. This is exactly where unattended updates go wrong.
If hardware fails, a prepared replacement unit is sent. Once a month, a report in plain language: health, calls, updates applied, open points.

Outside business hours we commit to no response. That is in the contract, not in the explanation afterwards.
These four points are not in the lists above because they do not ship today. We name them before the quote, not after.
Not planned: call queues, hunt groups, voicemail, call park, supervisor listen-in and a mobile app. If you need those, we are the wrong fit - and you will hear it in the first conversation.
We match model and size to your organisation, commission the system at a fixed price and keep it running. You keep your numbers, your carrier and your data.
Some organisations buy the hardware, others want no investment on the balance sheet. Both work. With leasing we are expressly not the lessor - the financing runs through a leasing partner.
Hardware once, then only the ongoing operation. The system is yours, and so is the licence - permanently, per Odoo database.
2.900 € / 5.900 € one-time36-month term, even small amounts can be financed. The hardware sits on the lessor's balance sheet, you pay a fixed monthly instalment alongside the Managed Service.
Box S around 90 €/monthBox V: no purchase, no depreciation, no device in the server room. The machine sits in a German data centre and is run by us.
349 €/monthThen we deliver commissioning and operation only. The service contract follows your licence tier - from a small setup to a multi-tenant structure with evidence obligations.
299 € / 499 € / 799 € per monthExample leasing calculation: around 90 € a month for the Box S over 36 months. The binding terms come from the leasing partner.
An organisation with 25 staff and 18 phone seats, today on a cloud PBX. Both sides over 36 months, with the same costs for trunk, numbers and call minutes.
| Cloud PBX, 18 seats | PhoneDesk, run by us | |
|---|---|---|
| One-time | 1.200 € | 15.300 € |
| Per month | 784 € | 1.209 € |
| 36 months in total | 29.406 € | 58.824 € |
| Per phone seat and month | 36 € | 67 € |
About 31 € more per phone seat and month. We write that down because otherwise you would work it out yourself. You do not buy PhoneDesk to cut telephony costs. You buy it to stop typing up phone calls, to make number routing auditable and to have what was said in your own Odoo.
Example calculation with disclosed assumptions on hourly rates, trunk and number costs. Before the quote we put your own figures in.
Not a project running for months. But not a cardboard box you cable up yourself either. We reckon on around 20 hours of work on our side, spread over seven steps. We currently ship fewer than one box a week - which is why we agree dates in advance instead of promising them and missing them.
System, control services and speech models preinstalled — in the rack or under the desk.
We settle size, carrier and model in one conversation, deliver the box commissioned and keep it running. What PhoneDesk cannot do today is in the quote before you sign.
